Epworth Eastern provides a full suite of Cardiology services. The department is supported by a 6 bed Coronary Care Unit with a further 24 monitored, an 8 bed Intensive Care Unit and two Cardiac Catheterisation Laboratories.

Non-Invasive Cardiac Services
These Non-Invasive Cardiac Services are available for cardiac diagnostic testing for adult patients.
Tests performed include:
- Intra operative echocardiography
- Exercise stress testing
- Echocardiography
- Transoesophageal echocardiography (TOE)
- Stress echocardiography (exercise & pharmacological)
- Ambulatory halter monitoring
- 24 hr blood pressure monitoring
- ECG event monitoring
