Epworth Reahbilitation hydrotherapy pools are staffed by qualified physiotherapists and physical educators who provide individual treatment and group exercise and activities.
The water’s buoyancy, turbulence and warmth are used to support the body, allow easy mobility and early weight bearing, assist or resist movement and stretch or strengthen muscles. It can also improve co-ordination, balance and muscular control, provide relaxation and relieve pain.
The pools feature:
- Water temperature of 34 degrees
- Carefully graduated depth
- Disabled access via hoist or steps
