Transitional Living Centre

The Transitional Living Centre is located in Thornbury, and is staff by a skilled specialist team comprising:

• Occupational Therapists
• Social Workers
• Psychologists
• Allied Health Assistants

The service provides a unique rehabilitation program assisting persons with brain injury regain skills to enable them to return to live in the community.

The centre consists of a house and 4 units based in Thornbury. The program is residential and is followed by assisted relocation to independent living. 

The program may be provided in conjunction with other community based therapy. 

The Transitional Living Centre is available for patients covered by insurance incuding the Transport Accident Commission (TAC) and is also available for public non-compensable patients.
